Under the supervision of the Program Medical Director, the Administrative Director- UT Center for Advanced Medical Simulation directs the operational and administrative activities of the UT Center for Advanced Medical Simulation (UTCAMS). This position supervises the use of facilities and equipment by any group or organization.
This position will assist in the planning and development of clinically appropriate scenarios. In coordination with the Director of E.A.G.L.E. SIM, the operations specialist will direct, orient, train, and support any assigned federal work study student(s) or new SIM employee.
The Technician Lead is primarily responsible for integrating, maintaining, and operating the computer and audio/video (A/V) technology including mannequins and surrounding simulation lab equipment. The tech also manages the recording and playback of simulations.
To be the collaborative resource center for all healthcare simulation programs in the state of Tennessee.
To improve patient safety and quality of care by supporting healthcare simulation programs in Tennessee with shared knowledge, resources, training, education and established partnership with Academia, Government and Industry.
